* Këtë vit kemi menduar t’i fillojmë takimet tona të përmuajshme Bytes & Bools me një temë interesante libri: “Biografitë e gjenive të biznesit të ICT në një libër… dhe e ardhmja që na pret.”
Në këtë takim do të kemi kënaqësinë të diskutojmë librin e Prof. Adrian Civicit “Gjenitë e Biznesit” (Vol. I, II), duke u ndalur posaçërisht te biografitë e gjenive të biznesit të ICT-së, që nga Bill Gates e deri te Sam Altman, për të diskutuar botën dhe shoqërinë që kanë ndryshuar dhe po e ndryshojnë vazhdimisht.
Këtu nuk janë thjeshtë 48 biografi të njerëzve më të shquar të biznesit në mbarë botën, por janë 48 histori dhe modele të cilat ngacmojnë imagjinatën e çdokujt që do të futet në botën e madhe të tregjeve. Në këtë libër modelet vijnë me ulje-ngritjet e tyre, me raportet e ndërlikuara me tregun dhe shtetin, me filozofinë e të bërit biznes dhe me mendësinë sesi pengesat mund të kthehen në avantazhe dhe qëndrueshmëria përmes një sjellje elastike mbetet çelësi kyç. Autori ka përzgjedhur 48 gjeni të botës së biznesit, që nga Rrokfeleri, Andrew Carnegie, Stiv Xhobsi, Bill Gates, Elon Musk apo Sam Altman; – parë edhe nga filtri i kontekstit tonë, ku ëndrrat dhe sfidat; guximi dhe mendësia, strategjia dhe inovacioni mbeten elemente të panegociueshëm për të pasur sukses.
Në takim do të jetë i pranishëm Prof. Civici për të realizuar së bashku një bashkëbisedim interesant mbi ndikimin që biznesi, veçanërisht ICT-ja, po shpërfaq mbi profesionet dhe shoqërinë ku jetojmë.
* This year, we have decided to kick off our monthly Bytes & Bools meetings with an engaging book theme: “Biographies of ICT Business Geniuses in One Book… and the Future That Awaits Us.”
In this meeting, we will have the pleasure of discussing Prof. Adrian Civici’s book “Business Geniuses” (Vol. I & II), focusing in particular on the biographies of ICT business geniuses—from Bill Gates to Sam Altman—in order to explore the world and society they have changed and continue to reshape.
These are not merely 48 biographies of some of the most prominent business figures in the world; they are 48 stories and role models that spark the imagination of anyone who wishes to enter the vast world of markets. In this book, the models are presented with their ups and downs, their complex relationships with the market and the state, their business philosophies, and their mindsets—showing how obstacles can be turned into advantages and how resilience, through flexible behavior, remains the key factor. The author has selected 48 geniuses of the business world, ranging from Rockefeller and Andrew Carnegie to Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Sam Altman—viewed through the lens of our own context, where dreams and challenges, courage and mindset, strategy and innovation remain non-negotiable elements for achieving success.
Prof. Civici will be present at the meeting to engage in an interesting conversation on the impact that business—especially ICT—is having on professions and on the society in which we live.
